Fawesome, an advertising supported streaming platform owned by Future Today, announced on Tuesday that it had added an additional seven Free Ad-Supported Television (FAST) channels to its lineup. The service has added more than 80 FAST channels in the past 12 months.
"With this expansion, we're strategically positioning Fawesome at the intersection of premium content and accessibility," said Vikrant Mathur, Co-Founder of Future Today in a statement. "Our growing FAST channel portfolio directly addresses evolving viewer preferences while creating valuable new opportunities for advertisers seeking engaged audiences across diverse demographics."
According to the press release Fawesome's enhanced lineup now features "an impressive roster of premium content partners including":
- Blue Ant Media – Providing engaging lifestyle and documentary programming
- Moviesphere and Ebony by Lionsgate – Bringing award-winning films and diverse entertainment content
- Bold Baking Network – The world's first dedicated 24/7 baking channel featuring renowned baker and YouTube creator Gemma Stafford, with thousands of shows and over 1,000 hours of content
- Sport TV Plus – Delivering high-stakes sporting events and commentary
- Tastemade – Offering mouthwatering culinary content from celebrated chefs
- GoPro TV – Showcasing thrilling adventure and action sports footage
- Voice of America – Delivering trusted news coverage from around the globe
- Gusto TV – one-stop-shop for delectable dishes, helpful cooking tips, and inspiring food content
It's not clear from the release which seven FAST channels are being added at this time. And weirdly, unless I missed it, while Fawesome's Live TV lineup is easy to find on the app, it's not available on the web version of the service.
It's worth noting that Fawesome also has a number of quirky culinary and home improvement shows on demand, although they can be challenging to find. I'd recommend the oddly entertaining 7-Eleven Challenges (7-11's are very different in Asia), License To Grill, the Canadian series Fresh Market Dinners, and the cooking-with-kids series Kitchen Little.
