Synopsis: Host Jesse Palmer transforms the baking studio into The Little Shop of Spring Magic, where anything is possible – from rainbow cheesecakes to dessert deceptions that look like dinner. For the first time ever, a baker’s dozen of 13 contestants will embark on a wonderous journey to make the impossible possible and win over judges Duff Goldman, Nancy Fuller and Kardea Brown. Eight of America's best bakers are ready to prove their skills in the first two challenges of the Spring Baking Championship. First, they'll have to make their best flower-inspired cupcake and in the main heat challenge, they must use farm-fresh ingredients to win over the judges with their most impressive upside-down cake.

1-02 Sweet And Tart--05/03/2015
The seven remaining bakers take sweet and tart to a whole new territory. In the first challenge, they must create a honey dessert and for their main heat challenge, they have to pucker up to lemons and limes and bake a springtime citrus treat.

1-03 Mother's Day--05/10/2015
Happy Mother's Day, bakers! In this episode, the bakers take on a special treat, transforming coffee and cream into a delectable dessert, and then they must whip up a festive mom-worthy brunch.

1-04 Birthday Blast--05/17/2015
The five bakers left in the Spring Baking Championship are challenged to bake for a birthday bash! They kick it off with desserts on a stick and for the main challenge, the bakers must create an amazing birthday cake, paired with homemade ice cream.

1-05 Memorial Day Madness--05/24/2015
The final four bakers must tap into their basic training to create memorable Memorial Day desserts to make it to the finale. First they're challenged to create a pie for a spring picnic, then they'll have the freedom to create the dessert of their choosing -- as long as it's red, white and blue.

1-06 Wedding Season--05/31/2015
In the epic finale, the three remaining bakers first take on a wedding dessert bar challenge and for their final main heat, it's all about creating a wedding cake that truly deserves to be the centerpiece of the big day. The baker who can impress the judges with the most spectacular wedding cake will become the Spring Baking Champion and take home $50,000!

Spring means it's time to get fruity, so for the pre-heat challenge, eight of America's best bakers undertake a shortcake makeover using any fruit but berries. Then, the main heat is berry, berry challenging as the bakers create berry naked cakes to stay in the competition.

2-02 Great Outdoors--04/17/2016
The seven remaining bakers take on outdoor activities with a pre-heat ballpark snack dessert made from classic ballpark treats like popcorn and soft pretzels. For the main heat, it's time for grilling as the bakers attempt to create barbecue imposter desserts. Baby back rib brownies, anyone?

2-03 Bake The Rainbow--04/24/2016
Spring showers bring May flowers... and rainbows! In the pre-heat, the six remaining bakers must make yummy dippers and create a sweet fondue to fill the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Then, for the main heat, bakers must produce glorious rainbow desserts to stay in the game.

2-04 Sweet-Toothed Farmer--05/01/2016
Spring is high season down on the farm, so for the pre-heat, the five remaining bakers turn farm-fresh vegetables into delicious veggie desserts. In the main heat, the bakers pay homage to a traditional farmhouse breakfast with bacon and egg desserts.

2-05 Moms Love Chocolate--05/08/2016
This one's for you, mom! In the pre-heat, the four remaining bakers take inspiration from typical Mother's Day gifts for their stunning desserts. Then, in the main heat, the bakers take on the most classic Mother's Day gift of all -- chocolates.

2-06 Destination Wedding--05/15/2016 
It's time to hop on a plane to a destination wedding! For the last pre-heat, the final three bakers must create an array of hospitable snacks for a groom's welcome basket. Then, for the final main heat, the bakers battle for the title of Spring Baking Champion with their best destination wedding cakes inspired by Mexico, Hawaii and Italy.

When the weather is nice, it is time for some remodeling! First, the six bakers attempt to lighten up a dense, dark brownie. Then, they give a classic Napoleon a springtime twist.

3-05 Momcentric--04/02/2017
It's baking to celebrate mom! To kick off, the five remaining bakers create fruit tarts from the heart in a kaleidoscope of colors and flavors. Next, they give vintage dessert makeovers to "mom classics" like peach cobbler, bread pudding, chocolate cream pie and pineapple upside-down cake.

3-06 Rainy Day Sweets--04/09/2017
Spring showers are in the forecast! Since rain makes gardens grow, the four remaining bakers must make whoopie pie critters you'd find in a garden. Next, to capture the drips and drops of rainfall, the bakers create colorful drip cakes while eyeing a spot in the finale.

3-07 Memorial Day Delights--04/09/2017
The three finalists finish up with a bang! First, it is a sweet and savory patriotic picnic followed by a salute to the red, white and blue with American flag cakes. When the flour dust settles, one lucky baker will be celebrating a $50,000 victory.

In the two-hour premiere, 13 bakers enter the kitchen where they are challenged to use flavor, texture and design to craft a flower-themed dessert that reflects their unique personalities. Then, the bakers make showstopping honey pies inspired by the marvelous magic of bees that must infuse taste and presentation with a touch of magic to impress judges Kardea Brown, Nancy Fuller and Duff Goldman.
