On Thursday, Netflix presented an update on its 2025 original TV series release schedule and here is a rundown of what the streamer announced. Click on the highlighted titles to see whatever additional information is available:
Adolescence (March 13th, 2025)
Adolescence tells the story of how a family’s world is turned upside down when 13-year-old Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper) is arrested for the murder of a teenage girl who goes to his school. Stephen Graham will play Jamie’s father and ‘appropriate adult’, Eddie Miller. Ashley Walters stars as Detective Inspector Luke Bascombe, and Erin Doherty is Briony Ariston, the clinical psychologist assigned to Jamie’s case.
American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden (March 10th, 2025)
This docuseries will give an in-depth look at how the world mobilized to hunt down Osama Bin Laden after his orchestrations of the September 11th, 2001 attacks on the United States.
America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders - Season Two (2025)
From Emmy Award-winning director Greg Whiteley and the team behind Cheer and Last Chance U, the fan-favorite series will return to continue giving viewers unfiltered access into this iconic team and franchise. Season 2 will follow the 2024-25 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders squad from start to finish — kicking off at auditions and training camp and continuing all the way through the NFL season.
America's Team: The Gambler And His Cowboys (2025)

All of which would be incredibly inspiring if it were all true. This is a true-ish story based on a lie, about the rise and fall of a wellness empire; the culture that built it up and the people who tore it down.
Asterix And Obelix: The Big Fight (Spring 2025)
Rome is desperate to conquer the last independent village in Gaul and the home of Asterix and Obelix. The secret to the Gauls’ battle superiority is a magic potion, but when the potion master loses his memory, the villagers are left to their own devices against the might of Rome.
Battle Camp (2025)
In Battle Camp, the greatest stars from across Netflix’s broad slate of reality and doc series return to face the ultimate physical and mental competition, where a giant spinning wheel randomly decides who stays and who goes. In order to keep their names off that wheel, our returning fan favorites need to be unbeatable in high-octane challenges, unbreakable in grueling punishments and, last but certainly not least, unhateable in camp, as everyone has a vote. Bet (2025)
A live-action show based on the hit Japanese manga, BET follows the students at a boarding school for the global elite, where underground gambling determines the school’s hierarchy. When Yumeko, a mysterious transfer student arrives, her gambling prowess puts her in the crosshairs of the powerful Student Council, while her secret quest for revenge threatens to upend the school’s status quo entirely.
Big Mouth - Season Eight (Spring/Summer 2025)
Big Mouth is the critically-acclaimed and Emmy-winning adult animated comedy about the glorious nightmare that is puberty. Inspired by Kroll and Goldberg’s childhood, it follows a group of friends and their hormone monsters as they navigate adolescence, human sexuality, and coming of age.
Black Mirror - Season Seven (2025)
Charlie Brooker's dark, satirical anthology series will return in 2025 with six brand new episodes, including a sequel to the sci-fi adventure “USS Callister.”
Black Rabbit (2025)

Cobra Kai - Season Six, Part Three (February 13th, 2025)

Department Q (2025)
Department Q is an adaptation of the novels of the same name from Danish author, Jussi Adler-Olsen. Created by Scott Frank, the series revolves around Carl Morck, a former top-rated detective in Edinburgh assigned to a new cold case whilst wracked with guilt following an attack that left his partner paralyzed and another policeman dead.
Devil May Cry (2025)
In this animated adaptation of the popular Capcom game and from the vision of Adi Shankar, sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck.
Everybody's Live With John Mulaney (March 12th, 2025)
A new weekly live variety talk show from John Mulaney to premiere for 12 consecutive weeks. Most recently, he hosted the live, six-episode talk show John Mulaney’s Everybody's in L.A. as part of this year’s Netflix is a Joke Fest.
Forever (2025)
Judy Blume's groundbreaking 1975 novel, Forever, is being reimagined for a new generation by Mara Brock Akil. It’s an epic love story of two Black teens exploring romance and their identities through the awkward journey of being each other’s firsts, set in Los Angeles, 2018.
Formula 1: Drive To Survive - Season Seven (2025)

Katrina: Come Hell And High Water (August 2025)

Monster - Season Three (2025)
Following the massive success of DAHMER - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Netflix ordered two additional installments of the record-breaking anthology series from Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan. The next Monster anthology will focus on Ed Gein with Charlie Hunnam as the titular character.
My Life With The Walter Boys - Season Two (2025)
Based on the novel My Life with the Walter Boys by Ali Novak, the series is a heartwarming coming of age story that follows fifteen-year-old Manhattanite Jackie Howard.
