Scripps Networks Promotes Sherry Pitkofsky To SVP Of Marketing

Sherry Pitkofsky has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing. Previously a vice president of brand strategy, leading the company’s brand strategy, audience development and engagement teams, Pitkofsky will now oversee the full marketing team, including creative.

Sherry joined Scripps in 2017 through the Katz acquisition, leading brand strategy for Scripps’ national networks and growing her role as the company acquired ION and launched new brands including Scripps News and Scripps Sports.

In the past Pitkofsky has held marketing roles at companies including NBCUniversal, AMC Networks and Conde Nast. She was named a Top Women Leader of New York for 2024 and is a member of the organizations She Runs It, Chief and Women in Cable Telecommunications. Sherry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science from Penn State University.

This promotion comes as part of the new leadership team structure being put together under Keisha Taylor Starr, Chief Marketing Officer & GM, Scripps Networks.
