He and LaTanya have fought together to end apartheid in South Africa, enlisted Hollywood to support the National Museum of African American History and Culture and raised millions for the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. But their greatest satisfactions are simple, like hand written thank you notes from young children they've gifted books.
