1-01 Bake Sale--02/02/2015
The first challenge is to make 2 baked goods fit for a bake sale, in two hours. In the middle of the baking, Duff Goldman and Valerie Bertinelli give the bakers a twist: to incorporate peanut butter and jelly.
1-02 Dessert Imposters--02/09/2015
The 6 bakers are tasked to make a dessert imposter that looks savory but is actually sweet. The 6 choices were bagel (Hollis), sushi (Annika), pizza (Payton), taco (Cody), burger (Natalie), and spaghetti (Jackson). Duff and Valerie throw in the challenge of making the bakers incorporate a side kick to the original plan.
1-03 Stuffed Puffs--02/16/2015
The 5 bakers are challenged to make 2 dozen stuffed puffs made from pâte à choux dough in one and a half hours. Duff and Valerie throw a monkey wrench in everybody's plans by changing the plan from making all sweet to half savory.
1-04 Celebration Cakes--02/23/2015
The 4 bakers are challenged to make a celebration cake for the finale. The cake must be at least three layers. Valerie and Duff throw another twist and tell the kids they need to make a "party favor" and give the kids ideas. Annika makes a dark chocolate cake with a raspberry cream coat and frosting. Jackson makes a lemon cake. Hollis makes a lemon cake. Natalie creates a lemon cake with cream cheese frosting. Jackson attempts to make macarons, but they crack. He then makes shortbread. Annika makes lemon bars. Hollis makes a sugar cookie. Natalie makes a cake-in-a-jar. The judges have two standouts; Annika and Hollis. Hollis wins the $10,000, her cake in Duff's collection and the industrial kitchen set.

2-01 Pie Ala Mode--01/04/2016
For the first challenge, the bakers are asked to make a perfect pie. The twist was that they had to make ice cream.
2-02 Eclairs Gone Wild--01/11/2016
The bakers are given the task of making 12 eclairs that have "gone wild" with color and flavor. A twist arrives with the bakers making 4 cream puffs in the shape of their favorite animal.
2-03 Hot Chocolate--01/18/2016
The bakers are given the challenge of creating any chocolate intensive dessert, but a twist shows up requiring that they use chilies, hot spices and hot sauce in their dessert.
2-04 Macaron Stackaron--01/25/2016
The remaining kids are given the challenge of creating macarons of any flavor. The twist is that they must stack them to 5 inches tall. If they do not stack them to the required height, they are not eligible to win, but it does not mean they are out of the competition.
2-05 Lunchbox Desserts--02/01/2016
The bakers are given the task of creating desserts using items in a lunch box. The twist is that they must use another item given out: banana chips or carrots.
2-06 Candymonium--02/08/2016
The excited bakers are challenged to create desserts using 3 types of candy. The twist is that they must use a blow torch somewhere on their dessert in a way that makes sense.
2-07 Desert Imposters 2.0--02/15/2016
The bakers are challenged to make dessert imposters, the favorite challenge from last season. The twist is that they must create a savory cupcake along with their sweet imposter.
2-08 Spring Break Cakes--02/22/2016
For the final challenge, the bakers are given the task of creating cakes based on common "Spring Break" destinations: the beach (Rebecca), the amusement park (Matthew) and camping (Yahshimabet). The twist is that they must include a curd filling in their cake.

The biz bakers are tasked with putting their own design on a logo cake; the kids will go head-to-head in a team challenge that finally decides which cake flavor is better, chocolate or vanilla.

Food festivals are the perfect place to get reviews from new customers, so Duff Goldman and Valerie Bertinelli have the bakers create festival-friendly desserts in a jar; after tasting each other's treats, the baker with the most likes wins immunity.

Sales trends change all the time, so Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman task the bakers with making cupcakes in a popular flavor; each baker pairs up with their neighbor to create a new cupcake that will predict a trendy flavor in the future.

Duff Goldman and Valerie Bertinelli know that sometimes you need to sit down over a nice meal to seal a deal; to honor this tradition, the bakers create power lunch imposter desserts like crab cakes with wedge salad, steak with fries and escargot.
11-07 Biz Kids Interview With A Baker--02/06/2023
Part of running a successful business is being a good leader, so Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman hold interviews to hire two team leaders who will assign flavors in the cream puff cake challenge to give their team the best chance at winning. Bakers with the same flavors are put head-to-head during judgement, and the side with the most wins earns immunity for their whole team. One baker from the losing side heads for the exit.
11-08 The Customer Is Always Right--02/13/2023
As a bakery owner, Duff Goldman receives some VERY unusual requests from customers, and he's using them as the inspiration for a "Make It Work" desserts challenge. In this test, Duff and Valerie will ask bakers to make a delicious dessert using an unexpected flavor combination, like strawberry and balsamic or banana and grapefruit. The kid bakers who can go with the flow move on, while the least successful dessert maker goes home.
11-09 Cookies Are For Closers--02/20/2023
This isn't your grandma's cookie! Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman challenge the kid bakers to put their own stamp on one of today's biggest trends: the loaded cookie. They want the bakers to really go crazy while making batches of two different types of over-the-top cookies. The more toppings, filling and frosting the better for this semi-final challenge!
11-10 Birthdays Are Big Business--02/27/2023
There is one event that is the staple of any baking business, and it keeps Duff busy all year round -- birthdays! In order to find out which flavor they’ll be making, the kid bakers must record a commercial for their baking business and sell Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman on why they'd make a great birthday cake. The top commercial maker will assign the flavors, and the best young baker wins $25,000 and the title of Kids Baking Champion!

Hosts and judges Duff Goldman and Kardea Brown welcome 12 kid bakers to an animal kingdom, where every challenge has an animal inspiration -- some with actual live animals! From mini horses and carrot-themed desserts to puppies and dessert bark, the young competitors take on tasks that honor our fluffy, furry and feathery friends to find out which baker will earn the title of Kids Baking Champion and $25,000.
13-01 Amazing Animals: Scales, Feathers, Fur And Fins--01/06/2025
There's a gorgeous parrot and loveable cockatoo in the kitchen, because this season is all about animals! For the kickoff challenge, hosts and judges Duff Goldman and Kardea Brown ask the 12 bakers to create an animal texture tart decorated with creature-inspired features like scales, feathers, fur or fins. Then, for a twist, the kitchen whiz kids must add an edible version of their animal's tail to their dessert.
13-02 Amazing Animals: Macaronimals--01/13/2025
Hosts and judges Duff Goldman and Kardea Brown have noticed that a particular dessert can be easily shaped into animals like a turtle, a panda or a frog ... but the dessert itself can be tricky. So, for the macaron animals challenge, Duff shows the kid bakers how to create a silky-smooth macaron batter before baking time starts. Then, since the animal macarons need a place to rest, the bakers must give their animals an edible habitat to hang out in.
13-03 Amazing Animals: Doggone Good--01/20/2025
Dog Man is half police officer and half dog, and the animated movie Dog Man is all about him. So, for this challenge, hosts and judges Duff Goldman and Kardea Brown pair up the 10 bakers to create two-tiered Dog Man cakes! One team member creates a dog head for the top tier, and their teammate makes the human bottom tier of the cake. For a twist, the bakers must incorporate an ingredient that all dogs (and humans) love -- bacon!
13-04 Amazing Animals: Sea Creature Sweets--01/27/2025
This week, the bakers set sail with Disney Cruise Line to visit Disney Lookout Cay, where the native sea creatures are so beautiful and inspiring that Duff Goldman and Kardea Brown ask the bakers to create sea animal desserts in an ocean or beach setting. For the twist, bakers are required to make a custom ice cream with a mix-in that goes with their dessert. Then, very special guests Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse drop by for a visit because there is an amazing prize at stake in this challenge -- the winning baker will enjoy a Disney Cruise Vacation!
13-05 Amazing Animals: Paws For Applause--02/03/2025
The eight bakers are challenged by Goldman and Kardea Brown to make paw print gridiron desserts inspired by "Puppy Bowl" on Animal Planet; special guest Dan the Ref keeps everyone in line while real live football-playing puppies motivate the bakers.
13-06 Amazing Animals: Delightful Dessert Domes--02/10/2025
Inspired by the movie Smurfs,Duff Goldman and Kardea Brown ask the remaining bakers to create a Smurf dome cake that illustrates what kind of Smurf they would be. Then,the bakers must make a cookie decorated to look like an animal found in Australia.
13-07 Amazing Animals: Animal Snackers--
Rudy the mini horse joins Duff and Kardea Brown to challenge the bakers to create dessert imposters of their assigned animal's favourite food. For a twist, they must also incorporate an herb, spice or veggie that is safe for their animal to eat.
