Synopsis: Following the shocking assassination attempt on journalist Jakob Hallberg, Lovisa (Hanna Asp, The Circle) is desperate to conceal her real identity – taking extreme measures to cover her tracks and silence those who might expose her connection to Vendela’s (Jenny Ulving McCabe, The Invisible) real daughter. As wedding bells ring for Sebastian (Filip Wolfe Sjunnesson, Eagles) and Marianne (Irina Eidsvold Tøien, Thelma, The Innocents), their happiness is overshadowed by tragedy when her secret illness is uncovered. Meanwhile, the arrival of Lilja in the Strandhotellet kitchen stirs new emotions and feelings for Carl, the kitchen manager’s son. As ghosts of the past rise again, Werner’s (Samuel Fröler, Nobel) grip on the hotel begins to slip and Hanna (Nadja Sofi, NCIS: Hawai’i) gets closer to discovering Lovisa’s true identity – will she learn the shocking truth before it’s too late?
