Movies And Special: 'Exterritorial'

Synopsis: A new job in the USA and a new life far away from the painful memories of her deployment in the war in Afghanistan: former elite soldier Sara (Jeanne Goursaud) wants a fresh start for herself and her son Joshua. But at an appointment at the US consulate in Frankfurt, Joshua suddenly disappears and nobody believes Sara that she even had him with her.

She immediately begins to comb the consulate for Joshua with military meticulousness, because she is certain: a conspiracy is afoot, her son has been kidnapped and she doesn't know who is trying to cover it up or why. And since the German police have no authority in the extraterritorial area of the embassy, Sara must act immediately to find Joshua. But can she trust the head of security at the consulate (Dougray Scott) or the mysterious Irina (Lera Abova), who is being held there and supposedly wants to help Sara? And can Sara even rely on her own perception?

In the gripping action thriller Exterritorial, Jeanne Goursaud shines as a traumatized ex-elite soldier who won't let anything or anyone stop her in her search for her child. (Courtesy Netflix, 2025)
