Synopsis: In the heartwarming one-hour episodes, Hollywood A-listers will put into action their deep thanks for special friends and mentors by surprising them with stunning home renovations alongside HGTV superstars and series’ executive producers Drew and Jonathan Scott. The celebrities’ personal stories of gratitude will inspire them to demo through walls and floors, make customized design decisions and ultimately dream big to deliver spectacular home overhauls for the extraordinary people in their lives. Brad Pitt recruits Drew and Jonathan Scott to help him surprise his friend and makeup artist of 30 years by renovating her detached garage. They turn her 400-square-foot unit into a showstopping guest suite, makeup station and storage area.

1-02 Melissa McCarthy's Hero Home Makeover--04/20/2020
Melissa and her cousin Jenna will roll up their sleeves to surprise her aunt Connie and uncle Jim, who were Chicago police officers for 30 years. The home’s overhaul will result in a stylish, comfortable and functional main living area perfect for Jim, who was critically injured on the job and has difficulty walking. 

1-03 Viola Davis Delivers A Dream Home--04/27/2020
Viola will surprise Michelle, her best friend of 30 years, with a dream transformation for her Minneapolis home. Michelle, who was Viola’s roommate during their years at The Julliard School, is a mom and cancer survivor who Viola describes as "someone who puts the needs of others ahead of her own.” Viola, Drew and Jonathan will give Michelle a stunning modern kitchen, an open floor plan perfect for entertaining, and a Zen room where she can relax and rejuvenate.

1-04 Michael Buble's Shocking Surprise!--05/04/2020
Michael Bublé will execute a life-changing home renovation for his late grandpa’s former caretaker, Minette. Minette not only cared for Michael’s grandfather, Demetrio—aka “Mitch” as he was fondly called by family and friends—for many years, but she remains a special part of the family. She also supports her own family in the Philippines with her income. Now, with help from the network’s immensely popular twin brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott, Michael will honor the last wish of his grandpa—who also was his best friend and an inspiration behind his music career—by giving Demetrio’s former home to Minette to call her own. Michael spent a great deal of time during his childhood at his grandparents’ home. And, before he hands over the keys to the house, Michael will work with Drew and Jonathan to overhaul the 1970s home into a bright, modern showplace that features a high-end kitchen with a waterfall island and a custom fireplace hearth in the living room.

1-05 Rainn Wilson's Surprise Outdoor Oasis--05/11/2020
Rainn says he credits his son's former nanny Leslie with being an integral teacher and friend to his son and a blessing to his entire family. Leslie now has three children of her own and the two families are still close. On demo day, Rainn will stun Drew and Jonathan when he arrives both shirtless and wielding a two-sided axe and other medieval weapons—a nod to his character Dwight Schrute from The Office. He will work with HGTV’s famous twins to completely update Leslie’s home, including the addition of an open floor plan with a stunning updated kitchen, collapsible glass doors that open to a large deck and a custom kids’ playhouse.

Jeremy Renner is moving his mom to Los Angeles to be closer to her family. He calls on Drew and Jonathan Scott to transform her dated condo into a modern-meets-cozy oasis where she can entertain the family and host sleepovers with her grandchildren.

Cindy Crawford will show appreciation to Sarah, her best friend and personal trainer of more than 15 years, by gifting her a major renovation of her family’s first home featuring a luxurious kitchen, living area and guest bathroom. The season will promise additional breathtaking transformations as the celebrities roll up their sleeves with Drew and Jonathan, including a modern southwestern-style main floor overhaul, an underused garage turned multi-function personal retreat and guest suite and a dream backyard that boasts a professional-grade outdoor gym.

Mandy Moore will take on a new leading role as a builder and designer when she gifts a showstopping backyard makeover to Celina, her 15-year friend who she says is like family and like a surrogate mother to her children. Mandy, Drew and Jonathan will tour the outdated space where Celina loves to entertain and discover an unsafe covered patio. To give her friend an upgraded oasis, Mandy will roll up her sleeves with the Brothers and push through weeks of unexpected rain to jackhammer cracked concrete, tear off old shingles and man a power saw. The emotional final reveal will showcase a state-of-the-art outdoor kitchen, a luxe lounge area featuring new seating and a fire table, and an electronic metal pergola that provides both sun and shade.

Rob Lowe will knock on Carol’s door with a mariachi band and the Scott Brothers in tow to surprise his dear friend and assistant of 27 years who he says is an integral part of his family. Although Carol has made some improvements to her home, Rob, Drew and Jonathan will work together to give her the stylish and functional kitchen and living areas she’s always wanted. When Jonathan unexpectedly falls ill, the popular actor will step out of his comfort zone and go full throttle with Drew to lay new flooring, hang stunning white oak cabinets and install high-end porcelain countertops. During the emotional reveal, Rob will show Carol the many custom features in her new spaces, including a pass-through window to the backyard and a built-in banquette.
