Synopsis: Hodgepodge Lodge was a half-hour children's television series produced by the Maryland Center for Public Broadcasting and shown on a number of PBS stations from 1970 to 1977.
It was hosted by "Miss" Jean Worthley, who would teach children about nature through hands-on activities, such as cooking and crafts, all done in a calm setting at a small cabin built on the MPT site.
While there were over 760 episodes produced of the live-action series, only about 30 remain. Sometime in the 1980s, Maryland Public Broadcasting erased most of the master tapes in order to allow the tapes to be reused.
