StudioCanal has named Margaret Conway as its head of physical production for TV as the Canal+ Group-owned company continues to shape its small screen business. Conway will be based in the U.K. and report to M-K Kennedy, the former Netflix exec who was recently hired to head up StudioCanal TV as executive managing director TV series.

Channel 4 Buys Eagle Eye Detective Series ‘Patience’ Starring ‘Breaking Bad’s Laura Fraser (Deadline)
Channel 4 has picked up the detective series starring Breaking Bad’s Laura Fraser about a neurodivergent self-taught criminologist. Patience has just wrapped filming and was made by Couple Next Door producer Eagle Eye drama for PBS Distribution and Beta Film, as part of Eagle Eye’s long-running partnership with the German major.

E1, DAZN Sign Multi-Territory Deal (Advanced-Television)
The UIM E1 World Championship has announced an international broadcast partnership with DAZN, the sports streaming platform. The deal runs until the end of the current E1 season, starting with the Championship’s showcase race at the home of motorsport in Monaco in July. Under a multi-territory agreement, DAZN will broadcast the Championship to audiences in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Canada, Japan and Southeast Asia among other territories.
