If you watch much television, you've likely seen the Pluto TV ad campaign that features a bunch of people dressed like potatoes, talking about how Pluto TV's free streaming service is perfect for couch potatoes like them.
It's a memorable campaign, although the scenes at a backyard picnic showing people dressed like potatoes eating potatoes is a bit unsettling. But you haven't seen anything like this new ad featuring veteran actor Gary Sinise.
In the commercial - which will debut during the New York Giants & Dallas Cowboys game Thursday night - features Sinise dressed in a potato suit repeating a few CSI:NY-ish catchphrases and touting the joys of watching Pluto TV.
I would love to have heard the pitch Sinise heard from his agent. "They want you to dress like a potato. No, just a potato. No toppings."
You can see the commercial at the top of the page.
