In the episode entitled "Horror In The Hamptons," actress Melonie Haller is poised for stardom after appearing in the television series Welcome Back, Kotter  and a pictorial in the March 1980 edition of Playboy. Eager for her next role, she goes to a party in the Hamptons that takes a violent turn.

In the episode entitled "Trigger Warning," what starts as a run-of-the-mill shoplifting call in Indian River County, Florida, turns into a deadly pursuit led by the RTCC. In Sioux City, Iowa, police use high-tech tools to solve a love triangle murder.

In the episode entitled "Twisted Fate," when a woman returns two days after being abducted, authorities believe it's a hoax until a similar crime forced them to take another look.

Murder Under The Friday Night Lights (Investigation Discovery)
